    DANIEL: My doctor got me started on some new medications quickly. I was hoping to get this under control so I could go on living my life. It took some time to get used to my new diagnosis of lupus nephritis and the treatment schedule, but my doctor was very open with me and was always monitoring if my treatments were working.
